Abdominal Separation

(Diastasis Rectus Abdominus)

It is very common to experience abdominal separation (gap between muscles) during pregnancy/postpartum, after dramatic weight gain/loss and through injury, etc. The muscles get stretched out and become lax. While this condition can sometimes heal on its own, it often requires physical therapy.

Our program of specific exercises, stretches and breathwork is designed to specifically target your abdominal separation, strengthening and conditioning your deep core restoring proper function and esthetic.

** Do not do any exercise or activity where the abdominals are compelled in an outward direction (ex. crunches) as well as no lifting anything heavier than your baby.**
